Plans FAQ

What happens after six months?

You own the site files outright. Most clients keep paying $150/mo for hosting, Google reporting, and edits. You can also switch to the $50 Care Plan or take your files to your own hosting at no charge.

What if I cancel before six months?

The remaining months of the minimum term are due before files transfer. Your domain is always yours because it is registered in your name.

Which website tier do I get?

We agree on the scope (pages, booking, brand kit) in writing before work starts, based on what your business needs. Changes after signing use a simple change order.

How is this billed?

Stripe autopay on the same day each month. The first payment starts the build; the site launches once it passes your review.

Do I have to buy a Care Plan after a one-time website package?

No. Handoff to your own hosting is the default and you can run the site yourself. Care Plans are optional and month-to-month for owners who would rather have Webstar handle hosting, backups, updates, and reporting.

Where will my site be hosted?

Care Plan and Website as a Service sites live on Webstar’s managed cPanel server with daily backups, SSL, and monitoring. Your domain stays registered in your name with Cloudflare DNS, so moving to your own host later is a single DNS change plus a full export we provide.

Can I cancel a Care Plan?

Yes, any time with 30 days’ notice. We give you a complete export of your site and help point your domain at the new host.
